Deep Tissue Massage
Deep tissue massage centers on realigning the deeper layers of connective and muscle tissue. It aims to release the chronic patterns of tension in the body through slow strokes and deep finger pressure on the tense areas, either following or going across the fiber’s of the muscles, tendons and fascia.
Ashiatsu Bar Therapy
Ashiatsu massage involves the therapist walking on your back to provide the deepest massage possible. The therapist uses bars and other supports to vary the pressure applied in certain places on your back. Ashiatsu massage also targets specific acupuncture and pressure points along your back.
Reflexology
Reflexology is a type of therapy that uses gentle pressure on specific points along your feet (and possibly on your hands or ears as well) to help you feel better. The theory is that this eases stress, and that helps your body work better. It’s also known as zone therapy.
